Jim Moray “Low Culture”
イギリスのトラッドをポップとしてアレンジするJim Morayの2008年の3rd。
本アルバムでは、凝りまくったジャケットが一番最初に目を引く。性愛と暴力に彩られた古めかしいトラッドの、けれども人々が惹かれてやまないイメージを、古いペーパーバックの如何にも陳腐な表紙として表現しているのだが、これが今回の作風と意外とよく合っていたりする。
収録曲では、どこか前作“Jim Moray”の陰々滅々とした部分を残しながら、軽快なポップ成分を増量している。
